Elder Samuel G Roberts Mission to Indiana Indianapolis 8/2021-8/2023

  Well this week was good! Pretty slow   but good   me and Elder Brimhall are seriously grinding like nobodies buisness and its awesome! We saw some pretty cool miracles and stuff so here's that: MIRACLES: What're the odds: Well we went to visit this one inactive lady who lives in an apartment complex which is government housing and this place actually kinda looks a little like Azkaban, I was honestly shocked when we entered we weren't greeted by a demontor  , anyways we found this lady's door and we knocked twice and no one answered. So we knocked her neighbors to see if they knew her and they didn't, so we thought we'd lost   but on are way out we saw this older lady named Georgia sitting outside and we asked if she'd want a picture of Jesus Christ and she was like "sure" so we started talking with her a bit and she seemed mildly interested and then she mentioned how her neighbor met with missionaries for a while....you'll never guess who her

Hey there, hi there, ho there   I hope you guys are all doing well! This week was pretty busy it was good, we had a bunch of miracles and stuff so it has been pretty awesome! Lots of grinding and finding so here's the stuff: MIRACLES: Jittery as all get out: So we were out tracting Finding pretty much no success   but we knocked on this one door and this guy answered and immediately invited us in and we start talking with him and his roommate and both seem pretty interested but both were like mad jittery like somethings up, so we're talking with them a bit and ask if right now would be a good time to hear a message and they're like "no, we're about to get high" so basically these two dudes were crazy jittery just wanting to get like supa high but they said we could come back so that's pretty cool  Ashley and miracles: So Angola is very itty bitty BUT in our area we also have a little place called Ashley which is even ittier and bittier like so small but we

  Well this week was slow but good! Me and Elder Brimhall are vibing and grinding just doing missionary stuff. We literally have like no one's phone numbers so we're doing a lot of door knocking and getting a whole lot of no answering it's awesome   we did have some pretty cool experiences and funny stories though. The ward members here are pretty cool too. Honestly Angola is a pretty sick little town! Apparently with the summer coming though we should start expecting what the locals call "Lake people" or "the lakers" so hopefully some stories to come about them  MIRACLES: No hablo Español pero todavía teníamos una lección: Well we were out knocking and grinding when we saw these Spanish folk playing some futbol and we were like "henlo" and they were like "we don't speak English" so we were like "welp darn" but one of the ladies pulls out her phone which has this super nifty translator app which is sick and so long story

  Henlo friends and family! I hope you are all doing well! This week was good but kinda crazy! So here's some stuff kinda our of time so just gonna give a few things Transfer News: Welp I've only been here in muncie for one transfer but I'm already Dippin out and going to Angola Indiana, which is way up north! It's right next to the ohio-michigan border so it's gonna be dope! Basically being banished because there is very few other missionaries near by so that'll be fun! It's gonna be good stuff! It's where my mission dad was born too so that's pretty sick! Mega Diffrent Church Service:  On Sunday we went with one of our friends to another church and welp it was strange....a whole lot different then what I'm used to! Everyone was standing up yelling and lots of loud music and stuff so it was interesting.   Hey Sam just checking in we had a good Easter yesterday Joseph and Adam came and we played splendor we also got Adam a new game of battleship for their family that was from Disneyland that had like pirate ship treasure boxes for the battleship box it was really fun Adam got a new puppy his name is Timpanogos he is a German shorthair and darling the cutest dog you ever saw he’s just a puppy and wants to chew on everything and run and Brooke everywhere Dad and I leave for San Francisco tomorrow to go see Matt and help him move to Austin  Andrew gets to come this time and he’s very excited about that Emily went to prom with David Evans and I shared a picture album with you so you could see that I think they had a really good time Andrew has been working on his basketball every day and having fun with that Daddy still riding his bike and having fun with that They released me from young women’s yesterday which was quite sad and happy I have been so overwhelmed with all the traveling that

  Hello my dear son We are doing well on our way home from Disneyland right now It was a joy to take Addie to Disneyland this weekend. I will share pictures Emily found you the perfect gift!! I am so excited to send it to you. I think you will love it  They had two new rides that were pretty dang fun!!  The new star wars one was really cool  . The new Spiderman was fun but a little like Buzz light year and the astroblasters We had a great time with Joe and i was so glad he could come with us Dad and i are going to be in Texas a bunch  Addie was not a fan of the lines at Disney— she was a big fan of suckers!!   Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! Please be praying for Terry!!  Second Floor Last Door: Well in the same building we went to the second floor and started knocking the doors there didn't have much success until the last door! This lady name Del
