Elder Samuel G Roberts Mission to Indiana Indianapolis 8/2021-8/2023

 Ok well I've been out in the field for almost a whole month and been a missionary for almost two months, ummm what....I'm not really sure how I got to this point or how it's gone by so fast but it has, so here I am. This past month has been very awesome! Its been a pretty crazy roller coaster with lots of ups and lots of downs but this week definitely saw a lot of ups! Not really sure how last week turned into this week cause last week was pretty rough but we keep pushing. Anyways here's some of the stories and some miracles that me and Elder Cook saw this week, prepare yourself cause some of them are pretty crazy. Specialized Training: On Wednesday we had specialized training, which is basically just a special little conference type thing just for all the greenies and their trainers. It was so awesome and the spirit was very strong throughout the whole meeting but one thing that hit me so hard especially because me and Elder Cook had been having a pretty rough week, b

  We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful world! The mountains, the ocean, the night sky. Its all so beautiful! One of the things that testifies to me that there is a loving Heavenly Father is the amazing world we live in! I invite you to take sometime to just take in the amazing world around us and witness God's create creation. What's one way you see God in the world we live in?

  The Lord is mightier than all the earth, then why not mightier than the trails you're facing, yea, or even than the tens of thousands that you have faced or will yet face? I testify to you as a disciple and representative of Christ that he is mightier than anything we can go through! He can and will help us to overcome our trails! So when trials come upon us--and they will come--DONT GIVE UP! Our Savior is mightier than any pain, torment, or anguish we will ever go through! Don't be afraid for God is on our side! I've seen him help me through my trials more times then I can count. I know that we don't have to be afraid because when God is on our side all things are possible! So keep going, God is cheering you on and is with you! How have you been able to find strength and courage through God during trials?

  Christ loves us all so much that he laid down his own life that through him we might return to live with our Heavenly Father. Although he died on the cross he left the tomb and lives! I know Christ loves each and everyone of us and that he can help us through our pains and our sorrows. He is the only person who knows exactly what you're going through and because of that you are never alone! How has Christ blessed you?

I know that as we put our trust in our loving Heavenly Father he will support us in out trials and will help us through are hardest times! I know this because I have seen God's hand so much in my life especially when I'm struggling and I'm going through a very hard time. I know God loves all of you individually! How have you seen God supporting you in your trials? Please continue to look for God's hand in your life because I know as you do, you will find it and I promise it can bring you peace and comfort.

 Okee dokee I guess that's another week down, it's crazy I've been out already for a whole month and a half  it's pretty crazy! But things out going well here in Indiana a few exciting things happened so I'll just get right to it Exchanges: We had exchanges on Tuesday which was pretty awesome, I went with Elder Miravete to his area and we did some work there. We started off with some service at a food pantry which was really good we helped sort some food and bring in a load and such so pretty good stuff. We then did some Facebook Finding which was good, not much else to say about that  . We then went tracting and not many people were interested but one guy kind of bashed with us maybe kind of but I kind of was just like "bruv I'll be honest with you I can't claim to know everything that is contained in the bible or what not, but what I do know is this the message that we bring people as missionaries is true and changes peoples lives" and this seeme
