Temple Time 😊Wed, Nov 9, 2022

 Hey everyone! So no email on Monday because today is my pday because, well, as the title would suggest we got to go to the Temple today 😎. It was super awesome! The Temple is quite small here, it's legendary though! Anyways here's some cool stuff, you know the drill 🤑

MIRACLES/TMOTLS:

FB TMOTL: 
A few weeks ago I sent a friend request to a dude name Devyn and he recently lost his Grandma so like I was able to connect with him over that and so we were able to set up a meeting with him on Saturday. We're going to go over the Plan of Salvation with him and I'm really excited for him. He lives in the sisters area though so won't really get to see were it goes but still cool 😀

It Works to Skip Pday:
On Monday when we would have had pday we didn't because you know Temple and stuff so we went and did some work and we found a lady named Heather who actually appears to be somewhat intrested so we're excited about that! Please keep her in your prayers 🤠 

UPDATES:

Mike: doing pretty good we met with him on Sunday and he really wants to read and understand the Book of Mormon and he's just pretty down to learn and he loves the answers that we give him! Hopefully soon we can get him to come to church! Please pray for him 😁🙏

Elijah: Elijah is a cool 18 year old who's pretty intrested, he's super engaged in all the lessons so we're excited for him! Hopefully we can get him to church as well! Please pray!!!!!!!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Did I mention that I went to the Temple today? But actually the Temple is so amazing! The Spirit that is felt there is so strong and in this crazy world is so needed! So my invitation to you this week is to make it a point to go to the Temple this week! I promise as you do you will feel the joy and peace that comes through the  covenants we make with God! When we leave the Temple we leaved armed with God's power, so go get to it and get over there!

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. After the game the Elders from the district we played with came to give us a box of donuts to say sorry for absolutely destroying you, and in the box there was a single, solitary "L" shaped donut, it was a very well done prank. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life! I invite you all to read D&C 121: 7-8 because they are really awesome verses that have helped me a ton this week. Anyways love you all.  -Elder Roberts
