Chilling in Muncie March 14th, 2022

 Well Muncie is pretty chill, quite a bit of adjustment. Elder Davis is pretty alright, nothing to complain about. We did see some pretty cool miracles though so here's some of them from this week!


Taylor:
Well we were out knocking and not finding a whole bunch of success but we knocked this one lady's door and she immediately came out and we started talking with her and she asked if we were "Mormons" and we explained how we were missionaries for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and we asked if she'd wanna hear a message, she said "absolutely" so we started sharing the Restoration and the spirit was super present like crazy present! And we shared the first vision and asked if she felt anything and she said she got the chills! Which is super awesome! So we set up a return appointment with her and it was awesome! However she lives pretty far from us and we have super crazy little miles so we're gonna have to figure something out so please be praying for us and for Taylor!

Another cool tracting thing:
We were out knocking some more and we knocked this one door and this lady answered and was like "Hey Elders" so ummm we were kinda like "so you know us then?" She was apparently a religious studies professor so that's pretty dope! She was super duper kind not super interested but crazy nice and like it was just a good way to end off the trackting.

Spiritual Thought:
This week's spiritual thought comes from a talk by Brad R Wilcox called worthiness is not flawlessness and in it he says "When you feel like you have failed too many times to keep trying, remember Christ’s Atonement and the grace it makes possible are real" well I've certainly see the importance of grace a lot the past six months, as a missionary I've failed a bunch and it's really hard to get back up and try again but it's when we do that we find the true power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ it lifts us and it helps us to become stronger then we ever thought possible!

Well honestly that's kinda it for this week, it was a good week with some adjusting but all in all a good week! Please be praying that I can have some humility this week and not let my pride get the best of me! Anyways love you all! Keep killing it and keep fighting the good fight!

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. After the game the Elders from the district we played with came to give us a box of donuts to say sorry for absolutely destroying you, and in the box there was a single, solitary "L" shaped donut, it was a very well done prank. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life!
