Never give up, never surrender.--July 25, 2022

 Hello family and friends! This week was pretty good as far as the work goes. So here's the stuff for you all:

MIRACLES:

They're multiplying:
So if you didn't know (because I definitely didn't) people who come here from South America/Mexico usually kinda group together. So this week we found 12 new Spanish speaking people....it was like every lesson we had with some Spanish speaking folk there was like 2 to 3 new people that we had never met before. So like kinda crazy!

Flint tracting:
Flint is this tiny little Township here in Stueben County, like probably 40 buildings in the entire place. So we went tracitng and actually everyone there was crazy nice, we found a family that might be interested and we also gave a lady a Book of Mormon and our number and she seemed pretty down to read it.
UPDATES:

Roxann:Roxann is doing well, please keep praying for her! Not much else to say about it

Amber:
Amber continues to be amazing and continues to let God prevail in her life! Please keep her in your prayers as well!!

Espanol Amigos:
They're all doing well, just please add all of them to your prayers as well as me and Elder Nicholson so we can get that good ol' gift of tongues.

Jasmine:
Unfortunately we haven't been able to meet with Jasmine for some time now which kinda stinks. Please pray for her!!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
this week I've been thinking a lot about trials and why we need to go through them and a really amazing scripture came to mind as I was thinking about it. Its D&C 121: 7-8, which is the Lords response to Joseph Smith while he is in Liberty Jail pleading for the saints. It says

"7 My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;
   8 And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes" 

Even though sometimes our personal trials feel so heavy and unbearable remember to keep that eternal perspective and know God and Christ will never forsake you!! Keep moving forward and keep enduring!!

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life!
