It's already half way through September? 😟--Sep 12, 2022

 Hi. This week has been pretty good lots of eventful things so here ya go

MIRACLES/TENDER MERCIES:

Cool Exchange:

On Wednesday we drove up to Terre Haute for our DC, which is an hour and a half away. We drove up to do some service up there which was building mountain bike trails (cool tender mercy because like bike stuff=mikey ). Anyways well we were up there we went on an exchange with the ZLs and it was a really awesome exchange! I went with Elder Volara and he's supa dope! Gotta teach some pretty dope people and stuff. Coolest miracle on the mission is seeing the spirit testify to people about things you're teaching so like just over all very good!

STORY:

Missing Keys:

So well we were up in Terre Haute building mountain bike trails, we got to the end of the trail we were making and our car keys were gone  so we did a whole lot of prayers and such looked for like 8 hours...with 9 missionaries....so like in total that's like 62 man hours of looking. No luck. We didn't find them. BUT it was a very cool experience and exercise of faith. Definitely wouldn't recommend it but it was good

Bunny: 

Bunny is still chilling, she's a little cwazy but still dope!

Sam:

Sam is awesome, she got a calling last week but wasn't at church this week which was a sad moment. We meeting with them tonight though so happy moment. Please keep her in your prayers!

Cynario:

I finally met her for the first time and she's awesome! If you've read some of Elder Stevens emails you know that the lessons can sometimes get kinda crazy for example here's an example from one of Elder Stevens emails 

"She is genuinly interested but unfortunatly has a husband and many other family members who are not  they always derail the conversations to random topics. This weeks random topic was that I, Elder Stevens, look to them like a frat boy, and that my inevitable destiny is to become such. So we decided it was probably best to leave that lesson and return a later date once we have the spirit again "

So this lesson went much better then this but still kinda all over  please pray for her!

Jason:

Lastly Jason is so awesome! He loves the church and wants go join but just doesn't feel ready yet, please pray for him! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

This week's spiritual thought is about having faith even when things don't go the way you want. With the above story about the losing of the keys, we showed a whole lot of faith. We prayed probably upwards of one million times looked for hours and hours and still didn't find anything. Why? Did we not show our faith? We talked about it the next day at DC with the distirct and we came to the conclusion that God's way is better then our way. Because we lost the key both me and Elder Groesbeck were able to stay up in Terre Haute and testify to specific friends that we needed to testify too. Very cool! So when things don't go your way understand that God's way is better then our way! Keep your faith and never give up
