 Hello everybody  this week has been pretty epic  lots of new people found , lots of fire lessons , and some colder weather . Here's some stuff for you to enjoy.

MIRACLES/BLESSINGS/TMOTL:

Flat Tires and Teaching Moments:

On Thursday we were on exchanges with the ZLs and it was pretty epic, I went to Terre Haute with Elder Talakai and did some missionary work up there and it was pretty epic! There's ISU campus up there so I got to be a campus missionary for a day pretty much which is definitely very different but kinda cool  well we were walking back to the apartment from campus we saw some people who were clearly struggling to get a tire off of a car so we went up and asked if they'd need any help and they actually said yes, which surprisingly enough doesn't happen very much. Anyways we were able to get the tire off and replaced for this girl named Laney who actually said she would possibly be down to hear a message sometime so that was dope! 

Lots of Fire Lessons:

For as little lessons we had last week this week kinda made up for it because we had a bunch or really awesome lessons with our friends this week! This week the majority didn't cancel which was definitely good! Honestly there were to many good ones to go into any major detail about any specific one but just know it was a good week for lessons!

Bunny: still crazy, hopefully walking soon.

Sam: She's doing well! Super awesome hopefully visiting with them on Saturday.

Cynario: her baptism is on the 5th of November and we're probably going to have to push that back because we still have quite a bit to figure out with her. Please send prayers!!

Jason: he's doing well, he's been reading in the BoM lately which is awesome! He's making some steady progress! Please keep him in your prayers as well 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

I've been thinking a lot about why we offer to Christ a "Broken Heart and Contrite Spirit" as a sacrifice for repentance and last night I came across some Scriptures that I thought were kinda cool so imma share them with you all. So the first one is in Isaiah 61:1 

"1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound"

Christ was sent to bind up the brokenhearted, and how does he do this well that's where Helaman 3:35 comes in which says 

"35 Nevertheless they did fast and pray oft, and did wax stronger and stronger in their humility, and firmer and firmer in the faith of Christ, unto the filling their souls with joy and consolation, yea, even to the purifying and the SANCTIFICATION of their hearts, which SANCTIFICATION cometh because of their yielding their hearts unto God"

So Christ binds our broken hearts by sanctifying them as we give him it as a sacrifice and how do we give Christ our broken hearts, well D&C 20:31 says

"31 And we know also, that sanctification through the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is just and true, to all those who love and serve God with all their mights, minds, and strength."

So as we strive to love God by keeping his commandments (John 14:15) and serve him we offer our broken hearts to be binded by the sanctifying power of Jesus Christ and we can receive a new heart with new desires. I thought that was a pretty cool thing that I found during this last week's personal studies hopefully it all made sense, and if it didn't oh well
