Cooking On Their Dome Mon, Jan 9, 2023

This week was pretty epic, we grinded out the finding! Like hours and hours of tracting it was epic! πŸ˜Ž anyways here's some cool stuff for you!

MIRACLES/TMOTLS:

Cooking On Their Dome:
On Tuesday after ZC we went on an exchange with out zone leaders and it was honestly so epic. Wednesday was the real epic day because we pretty much tracted from 1 to about 7:30 (I'm sure all the missionaries who served before Covid think that thats kinda rookie numbers, but believe me covid changed some stuff) and it was epic! As my Zone leader would say we were cooking! We found a super epic door approach and people were so open to it. But the end of the night we had made (or it was more the spirit and not us) three people cry! It was so epic! Like I'm not kidding when I say this was one of the most epic days of my mission!

UPDATES:

Mike: he's doing awesome, he's almost finished with the Book of Mormon videos and really loves them. He's out of town this week which is sad but we're going to meet with him as soon as he gets back! Please pray that we can get him to church soon.

Nicole: were meeting her tomorrow and hopefully that'll go well. Elder Johnston called her on the exchange and she apparently said yes she would like to be baptised πŸ˜Ž please pray for her too!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

I've been thinking alot about a word, it's a very simple word but it's honestly one of the most important words I know and that word is Hope. Hope is dope. Why is Hope dope? Because if we have Hope we can come off conquer of all things here's just some cool Scriptures about Hope!

2 Nephi 31:20
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

Ether 12:4
Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.

I love the imagery of Hope being an anchor! So this week I want you all to anchor yourselves a little more and start growing your hope! I promise as you do you will feel the promise in Ether and that hope will become an anchor and despite the storms of life you can stay grounded.

That's all for this week folks. Love you all! Remember to keep fighting that good fight! I would love to heat from some of you too πŸ˜Ž
