Charles is alive!! Mon, Oct 31, 2022

 Hello everyone! Hope your week's been going well! Things here are going pretty aight. Here's some stuff.

Charles is Alive!:
Ok so if you've been reading my emails for a little while the name Charles should sound familiar from when I was in Muncie about 7 months ago. Essentially here's the story, Charles was a guy I was teaching in Muncie who was actually progressing pretty well and then all of the sudden he kinda disappeared for a little bit....we had no answers....that is until we went and asked his neighbor who let us know that he had seen an ambulance role up to Charles's House and hadn't seen him sense......Well that's kinda when I left Muncie so for the past seven months I assumed this dude was dead 😔 well recently the new STL in my Zone was the sisters that replaced me in Muncie and I started asking her about some of the friends I had been teaching and Charles came up. Not only is this dude alive but he's on date and is like actually probably going to be baptised here soon 😳 so like kinda supa dope! 

Finding and Grinding:
So this week has been a lot of finding because pretty much all of our friends we were teaching either weren't progressing or have expressed interest in not meeting anymore....😵‍💫 so pretty much all of our friends have been dropped and we have now been trying to find new people and we've found quite a few who seem to have some pretty high potential so please add these people to your prayers

Things here are going well.

It snowed last week and that was hard. Dark and cold are not my friend this year

Had a good meeting for Stake conference today. Pres Mendez challenged us to serve and I have been trying real hard to do just that. Seems like the best way to stay sane.

Matt and Paul’s families  are planning on coming for Christmas looking forward to having the grand babies here

Because of the bad weather i got real clear with my therapy ladies on how to best get through the holidays. I realized that mostly what I need is good family time. But when everyone goes back and before school starts there will be a whole week of dark and cold. So I booked 4 of us a Disney cruise. I am really excited and think it will help us have something to look forward to

Did I tell you I got a new Kitty 🐈‍⬛
She is pretty cute. Her name is Tia

Emily and I are working on some music for the Roberts family Christmas program

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life!
