Back at it again with a park miracle and General Confrence!--Mon, Oct 3, 2022

  this week has been pretty good! Kinda some super epic stuff so buckle up!


MIRACLES/TMOTL:

Auppa dog:
We went to a friend's house who we had scheduled a lesson with but unfortunately that lesson fell through 😔😐😑😐 we had ridden like almost 5 miles to have it end up not happening...so we decided to sit for a moment and do some Facebook stuff and that's when this dude on his bike rode by and was like "Hey you guys know about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?" And we were like "yes we do, do you?" He was like "of course" so I said "would you like to learn more about him" and he promptly said no and rode off 😐😑😐 so we went back to the ol' Facebook and that's when this dude named Manny and his dog Auppa come rolling in and we start talking with him and he said he'd be super down to hear a message and to learn more! Super awesome dude! Excited to meet with him on Tuesday! 😎

The Park Miracle:
Super dope stuff bro, after almost....idk a couple months....we had a mega cool park miracle! We were at a park called Switchyard Park and we were doing some stuff for confrence and stuff and this dude named Sean comes and sits next to us and asks if we were missionaries so we said "nope" and went about our buisness. Nah I'm just messing we were like "Heck yes we are!" So we talked with him for a bit and invited him to watch confrence and also asked if he'd be down to hear a message. He said "fo sho" so were meeting with him on Wednesday 🙂

UPDATES:

Sam: Sam is doing well we unfortunately weren't able to watch confrence with them which was to bad but they're still doing good. Please pray for them 🙃 

Bunny: still crazy but doing good

Jason: he watched confrence and said he really enjoyed it 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 please keep him in your prayers! He's so dope 

Cynario: she has been supa busy between everything she is trying to accomplish so we weren't able to meet this week but hopefully soon! Please add her to your prayers 😀

TRANSFER NEWS 🙃:

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Ok with Confrence being yesterday obviously this is gonna be about that! So I was thinking about Elder Rasbands talk about the Book of Mormon and how we are to flood the earth with it! I loved that so much! I loved especially how after President Nelson gave it to the king in Africa he essentially said it was the greatest gift he had ever received. That is so powerful! So my invitation this week is to pray and ponder about one person you can share the Book of Mormon with the week! After you think of someone, go and do!! I promise as you follow the prompting you receive you will feel the joy that comes from helping others come unto Christ!

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life! I invite you all to read D&C 121: 7-8 because they are really awesome verses that have helped me a ton this week. Anyways love you all.  -Elder Roberts
