Another one 🤑 Feb 6,2023

 Hello all! This week has been good, some major updates 😎 but before we get into that, we got our transfer news on Saturday and I'm going another one here in Highland! I'm actually super excited! 5 transfers is a long time but the work has finally started to pick up and the ward is still legendary so I'm super happy to stay one more! I'm getting a super legendary missionary name Elder Page. Elder Johnston is transferring to Lincoln Nebreska to finish out his mission as a service missionary which is cool! Anyways enough with that here's the epic stuff!


MIRACLES/TMOTLS:

Not the Lesson We Intended but It'll Do:
On Monday last week we were going to have a lesson with Jason but it ended up not happening so the member who was going to join us for the lesson decided he'd come join us to make some contacts and it was a very cold night! So we went to one of the apartment complexs we recently finished tracting at and started contacting some of the people who said we could come back and all of them said something to the effect of right now isn't a good time, that is until the last one. We went and knocked and she was like "it's really cold, you want to come in?" And so we did and had a freaking fire lesson with her! She mentioned how she wanted to be baptised and we told her that was part of our purpose and it was just epic! Please add Virginia to your prayers 😇🙏

UPDATES:

Nicole and Tray: They're on date!! Unfortunately they got exposed to covid this past week so they weren't able to come to church but please add them to your prayers! 

Mike: he's doing well, he has quite a few doctors appointments coming up this month so if you could all add him to your prayers that'd be super epic! Other then that he's doing really good, we're hoping to have him at church here soon! 😎

Kim and Fam: They're great they came to church yesterday! We also had a lesson with them right after church and we talked with them about Baptism and they said they wanted to do it 😇 so we'll probably put them on date this week to be honest so please add them to your prayers as well! They're even taking us to dinner on Tuesday 😎

Jason: he's doing pretty good! We met with him on Thursday and the lesson went really well and at the end Jason was like "maybe we'll get me baptised one of these days" so kinda cool! Please add him to your prayers! He hasn't been able to come to church recently because of some work related things which is too bad but hopefully this next week he'll be able to come! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
This week's spiritual thought is on a cool BYU devotional I listened to a few days ago and it's a super awesome one about responsibility. Here's the link! Make sure to give it a listen!

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. After the game the Elders from the district we played with came to give us a box of donuts to say sorry for absolutely destroying you, and in the box there was a single, solitary "L" shaped donut, it was a very well done prank. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life!
