Angola and stuff--Jun 20, 2022

 This week was pretty good, it kinda flew by honestly but all in all very good. Here is the stuff:

MIRACLES:

Ashley and stuff:

After DC on Friday we went the a little town called Ashley in our area and we started knocking some yellow souls. We found two new people who said they're somewhat interested so it's pretty cool 🤠😎🥸

UPDATES:

Roxann: She's still doing good. Slowly but surely she's progressing, we're probably gonna invite her to Roxanns baptism this Sunday!

Amber: that's right Amber is getting baptised this coming Sunday! She's super excited and so are we! Please keep praying for her!!

Espanol Amigos: They're doing great! Still progressing great, last night two of the seven said they wanted to be baptised so that'll probably be happening soon! 🤩😇

Amanda: She's going through some rough stuff, so please be praying for her!! 

STORIES:

Ice Cream and Stuff:

Elder Brimhall hit his 18 months this past week so we went to a little ice cream place up here called scoops. It's mega cheap and absolutely absurd portions....like why would a man ever need that much ice cream. Its also very good! So if you ever find yourself in Angola Indiana for whatever strange reason stop at Scoops!! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

This is one of my favorite confrence talks ever! I love it so much because it is a very powerful testimony about both the Book of Mormon as well as Joseph Smith! I promise you all that Joseph Smith really did see Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and that it was by the power of God that the Book of Mormon came about. There is peace to be found in the Book of Mormon so please pick it up and read it!!

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. After the game the Elders from the district we played with came to give us a box of donuts to say sorry for absolutely destroying you, and in the box there was a single, solitary "L" shaped donut, it was a very well done prank. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life! I invite you all to read D&C 121: 7-8 because they are really awesome verses that have helped me a ton this week. Anyways love you all.  -Elder Roberts
