7 transfers, 45 weeks, and a whole lot of goodbyes-- Jul 11, 2022

 Henlo everybody! Another transfer has come to a close, what is my fate? Well I'm staying here in Angola and getting a new companion named Elder Nicholson! I'm pretty excited! I will also be able to see benny or uhhh...Elder Stevens tomorrow so all of you should be very jealous 😂 but anyways here's the stuff you filthy animals:


MIRACLES:

Mas Espanol Amigos:
Lo hicimos de nuevo... encontramos cinco españoles más que quieren venir a la iglesia y aprender más sobre el Evangelio de Jesucristo. les enseñamos la restauración ayer y dijeron "sí, por favor regresen". tiempos super epicos!!

Super nice couple:
We went tracting and we were having very very little success. But with a little Perseverance we knocked on this one young couples door who are crazy nice! They were pretty interested as well so please be praying for Michael and Jana!

Picnic and miracles:
We had a branch party/picnic thingy and we had found Amber a ride (because she doesn't drive). The ride never showed up.....but Amber started praying and was like "please send someone to come pick me up" and she started walking. Well another branch member saw Amber pulled over asked if she'd need a ride and well long story short Amber made it to the picnic!

Still being a total beast! She was sad Elder Brimhall was leaving but she's still loving the church!!

Espanol Amigos: 
They're doing awesome! 

Jasmine:
We weren't able to meet with Jasmine this week unfortunately because she wasn't feeling to good 😬

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
this week spiritual thought is about perseverance. Through the past week there were many times well me and Elder Brimhall were knocking were it was very hard to keep finding that motivation to keep knocking BUT we did and we saw a lot of miracles from it! So my invitation to you all this week is to keep pushing through those challenges and keep working hard! I promise as you do you will find miracles in your life!!

Joe and Brooke got to go on a trip to Seattle together this week and Andrew is watching the birds

Addie and Hannah came to visit and we had a lot of fun. Dad took her on a bike ride every day and that was so fun to watch

Fletcher Murray had his farewell today and it was good to hear from him

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. After the game the Elders from the district we played with came to give us a box of donuts to say sorry for absolutely destroying you, and in the box there was a single, solitary "L" shaped donut, it was a very well done prank. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life! I invite you all to read D&C 121: 7-8 because they are really awesome verses that have helped me a ton this week. Anyways love you all.  -Elder Roberts
