Baby Blessing March 20th, 2022

 Dear Elder Roberts


I really enjoyed your reels this week. I loved thinking about my favorite scripture and loved the compilation of scriptures. That was really cool

We are in Dallas right now visiting Paul for baby Marys blessing.

Matt got the job in Austin and will be moving to Texas in April. We are excited for them to be in a more family friendly place and it will be way less expensive. But we will miss having a great reason to hang out in SF. We loved it so much

So Paul is also hoping to get a job in Austin. He is working on getting his masters degree in may and then hoping to go to Austin with Matt. I know Hannah is really excited to have Sarah and Mary close

Adam and Sonora got to go to Disneyland with her family. They brought me a Disney uno game with was fun. Also they took Rocky to “fat camp”. They are walking him 2-3 times a day

Joe and Brooke are doing well and just working right now

Rachel is doing well in Idaho and got a new kitten. She is all black and she named her Nova

Emily is doing well in school and gets to go to Snow. I think she is disappointed its not California but excited to be going

Andrew is trying out for throwing with field. He doesnt love running so he is  going to do shot put

We love you and look forward to hear from you each week. Also prayers for your companionship.

 That's right folks, only four days left till I enter the field and I couldn't be more pumped. I am gonna miss my freaking awesome district though, no cap. but there's actually a few stories from this week so buckle up folks this email might be the longest one yet, a whole two paragraphs. Kickball: On Friday we played kickball with another district who was in our residency building just across the hall from us and it was tons of fun, but we lost miserably by like fifteen points. But I still had tons of fun. After the game the Elders from the district we played with came to give us a box of donuts to say sorry for absolutely destroying you, and in the box there was a single, solitary "L" shaped donut, it was a very well done prank. Miracle Muncie Baby!!

  Henlo everyone this week was pretty cool and Good I'd say. We had some pretty dope miracles met with most of our friends, planning on putting some people on date this next week...so like things are on the up and up over here! Here's some stuff MIRACLES: First Floor Last Door: We went knocking right before a lesson at this one apartment complex that was really close to the lesson and holy smokes   so we were knocking and kinda had a rough start but we knock on this one guys door, his name is Terry. We asked if he'd wanna hear a message and he was like "sure" so like usual we checked to see if we heard him right and then taught the restoration to him, gave him a Book of Mormon, asked if we could come back and he said yes. So were going back on Saturday! First p day

Hey everyone well it's only been three days but it feels like a lot has happened in just those three days, I met my district and comp and they're all really awesome people! My companion is Elder Kennedy and he is super chill. I can't wait to meet everyone in person though when I go to the Provo MTC this Wednesday, because right now it still feels kind of weird being at home even though I've been set apart as a missionary, I don't know quite how to explain it but it feels very surreal. Monday it felt like I was almost dreaming, because I've been anxiously waiting for this day to finally come for like a long time and now that it's here it feels so weird.  I know God loves you all and that He can help us through any trials we're facing, he's helped me a lot adjusting to missionary life! I invite you all to read D&C 121: 7-8 because they are really awesome verses that have helped me a ton this week. Anyways love you all.  -Elder Roberts
